so disappointed there won't be a KQ4 remake! Did the story of the father end there? Surely there was more information to be revealed, right? We still don't know what the father is or why he wanted the item? Or what the item does? Why was the father not upset that Alexander returned? Who was it that wrote Mannanan?
Have these questions been answered anywhere?

It would be a dream come true if the AGDI guys came back and did a KQ4 remake completing the series, but sadly I fear it will never happen as there were legal agreements made. Although that was a long time ago with people who probably aren't there anymore. Hell I doubt Activision would even notice these days if a KQ4 remake mysteriously appeared on the AGDI site anyway haha.

I assume not given the time of VGA has long passed. Personally, I'd like to see a 4k remaster of QFG1

Well, for what it's worth, while AGD did not pick up a Remake/Remaster, there was another fan who did. He kept the EGA graphics of the original, but has updated the games play, sound & UI to much more modern standards-
