Help on King's Quest 2,please!!!!

I am stuck underwater.I have the bottle,cloth and sea grass and I know where the fake wall is but cannot find the luminescent fish.Any hints and even spoilers( if necessary) are welcome.Thanks in advance!

Where you found the ship wreck, go down, left, left then up and you'll find yourself at the luminescent fish. Just grab abit of the week, park your bottle next to them and voila, your very own torch.

Now I am stuck in the swamp.I read the note from Church and thought I had it figured out as to the Compass,etc. and went by that but still cannot find castle or ferryman.HELP!!

So the note you got from the church should be a sentence with each word starting with a direction (north, south, east and west) It is rather simple to follow, the best thing to do is to get a pen and paper, read the note and write the letters in order of the sentence down. Once you get into the forest just follow each letter until you're there. It is rather simple, good luck!

I got the directions I thought were correct but they keep leading me wrong.I am stuck and need help.Spoilers welcome!!! Any significant things I need to look for in the correct area??

Make sure you start out on the screen east of the flies. Basically, find the scene with the flies, go east then start your directions: south, west, north, south, etc...

A north followed by a south does not cancel itself out. You must actually go north, and then turn around and go back south...


BTW, I merged your topics together. Try to keep all your questions in one thread. It keeps the forums from getting too cluttered. Thanks

I decided to start the game over because I realized that I had neglected to talk to  everyone until they were "talked out" before going across bridge,etc.Hopefully it will work now. Sorry about too many Topics.I guess I just got a bit  exuberant in my quest. Thanks!!

There isn't really any reason to start the game over again. There are no dead ends, so not talking to everyone until they were done talking shouldn't be a problem.

I enter the swamp and then go South which is the only way I can go in that screen.I then go East and then start my directions but it doesn't work because where I'm supposed to go West,I can only go East,North or South and if I go North,it leads me out of the swamp and back to where I started.This is driving me nuts.Please help.Give me a spoiler if you have to but get me through the swamp!! Thanks ever so much!

The scene with the flies is north of Hagatha's cave. Go there, and then enter the swamp one screen by going east, and then start your directions. You should be able to get through then.

I'm on the Island with the tower but can't seem to find that patch of darker sand.I have looked and touched and walked and can't seem to find it.A hint,please?Thanks!
