I think I'm blind: Need help with seeing the beaker

Ok, for some reason, I can't find the beaker to make the emerald in the Cave on the mountain. I look around the room, to mix this stuff and I don't see it. My screen is bright as bright can be, and I still can't find it and the enchanter always catches me.

Any help with this would be much appreciated  :)

Click the hand on the desk. The beaker is on the left in the closeup.

Ya, I eventually figured that out. I wasn't using the hand in the right pixel.

Now its night time, and I talk to granny and she said that Possum went to town to get food. Well I went to look for her, and near the dwarf's House(just south of it) I get a message on the screen saying something like "you hear a child sobbing near by".

I looked all over that space for her, and nothing. Do I just stand there an wait? And won't a dwarf come after me, or do they sleep at night?

Don't worry about the dwarf. He won't bother you...yet.
Check all the screens near the howse.

Before Possum appears, make sure you have solved the haystack puzzle near town and have visited the church. (if you've done everything there is to be done in the church, you won't be able to get back in there)

I did those things quite awhile ago(the needle part anyways), as for the church, I finished it as well.

I figured that I had to run around the woods a bit. I was just being a wuss, because of the scary dark forest, and my fear of running into the Dwarf that looks identical to the menacing Garden Gnomes my grandmother used to collect. Creepy little buggers.
