Help an italian newbe

I'm pretty sure that some of you will laugh...but it's the very first time that I play a game like this; i'm stuck completely in the dark cave of Sharkyland.
I've got the bottle with the fish within, i've found the hidden entrance in that cave, but when i come to the shell, i can't go on. Neither can i dismantle from the seahorse, or light up something; when there is no space to dismantle, i can't do it; where there is no light enough to dismantle, i can't do anything about it; or the message says, it's not safe to dismantle.
I can deal with the thing that i probably can not leave the seahorse; but how do I go on in the cave behind the shell?
I'll be gratefull to the one who gives me a hint... just remember that i'm italian and i don't really deal fine with the "mysterious" hints... Just treate me like a child

Use one of the items you have as a tool to force the shell open.

I've tried them all but none of them seems to work... perhaps i don't have the item you refere to...
